The Broward County Fire Marshall has dictated that ME Productions greatly reduce inventory from its 30,000 sq ft warehouse in order to comply with new county fire codes. In response, the company has rented the adjoining building, formerly City Furniture, in preparation for the auction of a lifetime!  The empty space is now a showroom for 30 years worth of amazing props and décor.  “The array of inventory we have selected for auction is astounding!”  says Hal Etkin, Founder and CEO of ME Productions.  “We have tiki gods so tall they can reach the clouds, Halloween ghouls, marooned pirate ships, flapper costumes, and entire reproductions of Hollywood type sets…  Anything our clients have dreamed of, we have created and collected over the years.”

The amazing array of inventory also includes floral centerpiece stands, castles, scenic panels and high end entertainment gear including lights, sound equipment, and seating arrangements. Even more, the décor for weddings, quinces, mitzvahs and private themed parties is seemingly endless!

ME Productions creates “The World is in our Children’s Hands” for Miami Children’s Hospital

(March 14, 2011 –Fort Lauderdale,FL) – ME Productions, a full-service event production company, was enlisted to provide event décor and entertainment at Miami Children’s Hospital’s 46th Annual Pediatric Postgraduate Conference. Galas, forums, and sessions were held at the InterContinental Miami Hotel Friday, March 4, 2011 through Thursday, March 10, 2011.  The Conference allowed for specialists to present on advancements in pediatrics, educating colleagues in the hopes to progress pediatric medicine. 

ME Productions’ event designer Cindy Carnero created “The World is in our Children’s Hands” Reception with an Asian/Zen theme.  Traditional Asian harpists and flutists facilitated in this brainstorming forum.  Silhouettes of children, cut-outs ranging from 3-5ft tall, were placed through the event.  The Silhouettes represented different stages of childhood setting the ambiance for an event whose chief ambition was to improve upon the care of children. 

The “Going Green” Faculty Dinner was infused with an earthy, Asian vibe.  Moss draping, wheatgrass centerpieces enhanced with natural river rock, and up-lite bamboo accents created an energized environment.  The dinner served as an opportunity for experts to discuss new state-of-the-art procedures.

The “Carnival Fun” Closing Reception fostered interaction amongst both established and budding pediatricians.  ME set up carnival booths and provided games such as golf, coconut bowling, beach ball toss, and tic tac-throw-to enhance comrade and a healthy sense of competition between all conference attendees.
